At the EGM of Ashford Cricket Club held on Thursday 28th August, there were two motions on the agenda.

1. Constitution change (new text in bold italics):
All Life Members, Vice Presidents, Committee Members, Full Members (playing and social) and those Junior Playing members aged sixteen years or over at the date of the meeting are entitled to vote at General Meetings.

Membership must be paid in full by September 1st in order to be eligible to vote. If a member is paying through a payment plan, the plan must be paid in full by September 30th.

Other members may attend General Meetings but are not entitled to vote.

Social members are entitled to vote in the elections of committee members (excluding First Team Captain and Club Captain). Social members may not vote in captaincy elections.

2. Adopt the updated Safeguarding Procedures:

Both motions were carried unanimously. An updated version of the ACC Constitution will be posted on the web site shortly.
