Well done to all winners.

Ashford Cricket Club held a very successful awards evening at the Sports Club on Friday evening, 17th October. Many thanks to all those who attended.

A special thank you to Paul, Kajal and Ikie for the excellent food and thanks to Beth for running the raffle and Elaine for the table decorations.

Finally congratulations to the winners, all your names are now on the ACC Club Honours Board on the club website.

The winners were:

  1. Mens Progress in the club - Bikramjeet Singh
  2. Sportsmanship - Tahir Khan
  3. Junior ability award - Kaushal Thatta
  4. Junior Team performance - U17s
  5. Tourist of the Year Award - Ben Simper
  6. Surrey Trust player of the season - Satyam Patel
  7. Sunday 2nd XI player of the season - Abhirut Selhi
  8. Sunday 1st XI player of the season - Mansoor Malik
  9. 5s Player of the season - Tahir Khan
  10. 4s Player of the season - Arsalan Khan
  11. Off field Service - Robert Nicholls
  12. 3s Player of the season - Harleen Singh
  13. 2s Player of the season - Mansoor Malik
  14. 1s Player of the season - Rajesh Sharma
  15. Team performance - 1st XI

The Players' Players of the Year Awards went to:

  • 1st XI - Satyam Patel
  • 2nd XI - Afzaal Butt
  • 3rd XI - Harleen Singh
  • 4th XI - Arsalan Khan
  • 5th XI - Vedant Juikar
The Team of the Season was awarded as follow:

In addition drawmaster Craig Turner supervised the traditional end-of-season 200 Club Draw. The winners were:

  1. Chris Lunn £400.00 - ticket number 135
  2. Ross Wright £200.00 - ticket number 226
  3. Maureen Frost £100.00 - ticket number 72
