After a remarkable weekend that saw Ashford Cricket Club come within touching distance of a clean sweep across all five Saturday teams, confidence is high as another exciting weekend of cricket awaits.

This Saturday, four of our league sides will be back in action, each aiming to secure another valuable victory and collect the all-important 20 league points as the season enters a decisive stage. The 4th XI will enjoy a well-earned break from league cricket this weekend but will instead take part in a competitive friendly fixture.

Sunday promises to be another fantastic day of cricket at Ashford Cricket Club. Our young cricketers will once again take centre stage in their Surrey Trust fixture, looking to build on the encouraging performances they have produced over recent weeks. There will also be another competitive friendly fixture taking place at our home ground, promising an entertaining afternoon of cricket for everyone.

Importantly, a reminder to all players to take extra care in the hot conditions. Please stay well hydrated, follow the ECB's hot weather guidance to ensure everyone enjoys a safe and enjoyable weekend of cricket.
