Thank you to all our members who turned up on Saturday to tidy the club ready for the winter.

The ground is tended by our excellent groundsman, but everything else is down to our fantastic membership.

The following tasks were completed:

• frayed portion of boundary ropes cut off and disposed of
• all boundary ropes stored in 2nd scorebox
• 2nd Score box tidied and secured for the winter
• covers hoses and joining sheets stored in old scorebox
• balcony tidied and some items scrapped
• benches stored on balcony
• changing rooms 3, 4 & 7 emptied and tidied
• stumps, bails and other items moved to storeroom
• broken bench in changing room 4 fixed
• mobile batting cage dismantled, old netting removed and moved to winter storage area
• main scoreboard boarded up
• patio French drains cleared
• patio weeded

The following are still to be done:

• tidy store room and dispose of unwanted equipment
• general tidy up and litter pick around the site
• get football nets and corner flags out of the groundsman's shed
• artificial nets to be closed down for the winter
• dispose of old netting from mobile cage
