Message from A(SL)S Management Committee:
Dear Member,
Thank you to all ACC and AHC members who have visited the clubhouse and made use of the bar facilities over the last two weekends. Although a lot of the procedures put in place to meet the Covid-19 Government requirements have worked very well, there have been problems enforcing the 2 metre social distancing ones, which are unfortunately being regularly overlooked. Whilst A(SL)S Management Committee has tried to oversee distancing, we really need all members of ACC and AHC to help to ensure everyone complies. The social distancing rules are for the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone so if you see anyone forgetting the rule, please remind those concerned of the 2-metre requirement.
We want everyone to enjoy their time at the club, but we also want all to remain healthy, minimise the chances of spreading the virus and to follow the specified Government procedures. Whilst some members might have breached the social distance rules through exuberance after the months of lock down, I am sure that all members appreciate that A(SL)S has both a social and a legal obligation to maintain this protocol. Equally I am sure that members would agree that after months of lockdown it would be a shame to have to review or curtail the opening hours because the protocol was being inadvertently breached. Can we, together, ensure that the protocol is followed?
Thanking you all in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
