I hope this message finds you well. As the cricket season approaches, we are eager to ensure our ground is in top condition to host cricket and to provide a fantastic space for all enthusiasts and their families to enjoy. To achieve this, we are calling on our wonderful community for support.

We are seeking volunteers to lend a hand in preparing the Short Lane cricket ground. Please don't leave this to others.
The tasks include:

Getting the boundary ropes and the covers hoses out of storage.
Repairs and repainting of the sight screens, as needed.
Getting the benches out and repairing/staining where required.
Removal of the main square scoreboard covers.
Clearing out the changing rooms.
Preparing the nets for use.
General tidy up of the building and grounds - task for Sunday.
Changing the clubhouse notice boards.
Painting the patio fence.
Testing both scoreboards.
Moving the old scorebox to the main square.
Check all pitch covers and joining sheets.

Your help will play a vital role in creating a space where players and spectators alike can enjoy the sport we all love.

The more members who help the quicker these jobs get done, don't expect everyone else to do them for your game.
