Ashford Cricket Club Raises Over £3,000 for Princess Alice Hospice

Chris Evans

In loving memory of Elaine Doggett

Ashford Cricket Club would like to extend its heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the fundraising evening on Saturday 1st August, held in loving memory of Elaine Doggett.

It was a truly memorable occasion, bringing together members, friends, sponsors and supporters to celebrate Elaine’s life while raising funds for Princess Alice Hospice. Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who attended, we are delighted to announce that the evening raised just over £3,000 for this wonderful charity.

The evening featured a raffle, an envelope game and a lively auction, all of which were enthusiastically supported. The fantastic response and generosity shown by everyone created a warm and uplifting atmosphere that reflected the spirit of both the club and the occasion.

Elaine was a long-standing supporter and dedicated volunteer at Ashford Cricket Club. Over many years, she gave so much of her time and energy to the club, always with a smile and a willingness to help. She was a familiar and much-loved face whose kindness, friendship and commitment touched so many people. The evening was a fitting tribute to her life and the lasting contribution she made to our club community.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous support, providing prizes and auction items that helped make the event such a success.
