Our annual President's Day is next weekend on Saturday 14 September and it will follow a T20 finals day format, featuring age-grouped teams. All members (men, ladies, boys and girls) eligible for open age cricket (U13 and older) can take part in the cricket.

This is a great opportunity for parents who don't regularly play cricket for Ashford to showcase their cricket skills in direct competition with their kids from our juniors section. Don't worry if you don't have equipment - we can supply gear for the day.

Saad will publish the teams later next week. We will ensure that all available/interested members get a game And if you can't commit to playing, you can still come down with family and friends to watch some cricket, share in the fun and support the day.

The schedule for the day will be (roughly) as follows:
10.30am - Arrival time
11.00am - First match commences with two games played concurrently on the two squares
2.00pm - Lunch provided by David Hanks
3.00pm - Final on the main square and wooden spoon playoff on the second square
6.00pm - Presentation Ceremony

In his first year as President Kevin Lambert will be in attendance in his apron as he generously provides a special BBQ, accompanying salads etc as the deciding matches reach their climax.

Match fees £6 adults, £3 juniors will apply for President's Day and will cover lunch and evening bbq.
