WHAT ASHFORD IS DOING?

Ashford Cricket Club (ACC) adopted new procedures and policies to meet the needs of cricket development in society today. These policies ensure that there is true equity in everything at ACC, that ACC provides a safe and child-friendly environment that parents can have confidence in and that parents, coaches, other volunteers and children alike all adhere to specific rules and codes of practice to ensure uniformity throughout the club. In addition, all Managers, Coaches, Umpires and Scorers have had a police CRB (now DBS) check performed.

The ACC General Committee produced and adopted a Colts Manager’s File for use by each of the Colts Managers within the club. These files contain the mandated policies, procedures and codes that were introduced plus other useful information for parents and coaches alike. The General Committee separately approved each of the policy documents, codes of conduct and job descriptions.
In addition, the Club maintains a Clubmark Evidence File which is a living document that will evolve. Please ask your child’s manager if you wish to see a copy, however, the relevant information for you and your child(ren) is included within the pre-season circular and/or fixture card.
