The first winners in the 200 Club of 2019 are:
Round 1, 2019:
1st prize (£100): Becky Halls
2nd Prize (£50): Richard Wallace
Congratualtions Becky and Richard. Prize cheques will be posted and with you soon.
The 200 Club exists as a major fundraiser for the Club. Last year its fund has been able to donate in the region of £1400 to the Cricket Club. This money can then help the club maintain and hopefully improve upon the facilities and services it provides to the benefit of the members.
Shares cost £12 each and can be paid for by cash, cheque or, preferably, by bank standing order annually or for as little as £1 per month. At least 50% of the money raised is returned to the members by way of prizes.
Current participation in the draw ensures that there are six draws in the year. In addition to these, there are two annual major prizes of £400 and £200 drawn traditionally at the end of season Annual Dinner.
As we continue to work towards achieving the Club's ambition to move and renew its nets facility, funds generated through the 200 Club, along with other in-house funds and donations, will be vital to attract and supplement grant funding currently being sort from external providers.
Ideally we would love every playing member and each family in the Junior Section of the club to hold at least one share. If that were the case, there would be at least an extra £500 in prize money and an extra £500 towards the club’s development as well as more chances for members to have their subscriptions paid by winning!
Please support this worthwhile and important fundraiser by purchasing at least one share. A Standing Order Mandate form is attached for you to print and complete accordingly and return to either Saad Choudhary (treasurer) or Craig Turner (200 Club promoter), or direct to 200 Club fund manager: Chris White, 19 Nursery Road, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex TW16 6LA.
