Fixed term contract - Summer 2019 (April to July)

An opportunity has arisen at St George’s Weybridge, a leading independent school based in Surrey, for a Cricket Coach to join our friendly Sports Department in April 2019.

St George’s provides opportunities in cricket for all of the students within the College, whether they are of an elite standard or play as a recreational activity within the Games curriculum. The College has a successful reputation for girl’s cricket, having introduced it in the Summer of 2015-16 and become a main sport for girls in 2016-17. There is a competitive fixture list including participation in the Surrey Cup and School Sport Magazine National Cup. The U15 XI are the reigning Surrey Champions, having held the title for three successive years.

As Cricket Coach you will work closely with the Head of Girls Cricket in providing high quality coaching to students of all abilities from beginners to national standard. The duties will include providing training to develop both students and staff, and the responsibility for a team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivational individual with a passion for Cricket. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in this area, a formal Level 1, 2 or 3 qualification is desirable as well as being a proficient umpire of the sport and experience of working in the education sector.
