Becoming a Cricket Coach
A full programme begins in November - the perfect time to get your qualification outside of the busy cricket season!
Want to start coaching at your club in the 2018 season but don't know what qualification is best? We've dedicated this section to help find the right course for you.
I want to lead coaching sessions up to the age of 13
If you want to lead coaching sessions for children up to the age of 13, you'll need the ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Children.
We've recently announced courses for Downsend School, Dunraven School, Edgeborough School, Esher Church of England High School and the Surrey County Cricket Centre.
I want to lead open age coaching sessions
If you want to lead open age coaching sessions, you'll need the ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults.
We've just started taking bookings for a course at Downsend School.
I want to help a qualified coach at coaching sessions
If you find yourself helping a Level 2 or above coach at your club, our Coach Support Worker course may be ideal for you. The course is designed to help develop your confidence and equip you with the knowledge, understanding and applied skills to assist a qualified coach in a coaching session and create a safe, enjoyable and welcoming player-centred environment.
The course is a 6-hour workshop and we have 10 courses planned between March - May 2018.
The course costs £60 and you can find out more by clicking here.
Please note the ECB Level 2 Certificates allow you to coach any age group but the different courses allow you to access age specific content.
If you have any Coach Education queries please contact Alastair Hughes.
